Canucks for Kids Fund

The Canucks for Kids Fund provides major financial support to organizations that impact the lives of British Columbia's children in the areas of (1) children's health and wellness, (2) grassroots hockey development and (3) supporting education. The Fund's core beneficiaries: Canucks Autism Network (CAN), Canuck Place Children's Hospice, and BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

The Fund supports many other children's charities and programs as well, including mental health awareness through the Hockey Talks initiative, and supports education through the Canucks Family Education Centre.

Canucks Autism Network

The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) provides year-round, innovative, high quality sports, recreational, social and arts programs for individuals and families living with autism, while building awareness and providing training through community networks across British Columbia.

CAN's vision is to be a leader in enhancing the quality of life for families living with autism in British Columbia. The Canucks Autism Network team consists of a diverse group of trained staff, support workers and dedicated volunteers who administer programs for families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our province.

Canuck Place Children's Hospice

The illness and death of a child is a life-altering experience for the families who love them. At Canuck Place Children's Hospice, children and families experience the simple joy of being a child and families can cherish each moment together

Canuck Place is BC's pediatric palliative care provider and first opened its doors in November 1995 as North America's first free-standing children's hospice. The organization has 9 patient beds and 4 family suites and services inpatient clinical respite and family support, pain and symptom management, 24-hour phone consultation support and in-house clinical care, art and education, recreation therapy, grief and loss counselling and end-of-life care.

BC Children's Hospital Foundation

BC Children's Hospital is the province's only full-service, pediatric acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. BC Children's Hospital Foundation is committed to improving the health and the lives of the young people who are cared for by BC Children's Hospital every day.

Over the years, the Canucks for Kids Fund has donated more than $4 million to BC Children's Hospital, supporting a variety of areas such as the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Building, the Centre for Research in Childhood Diabetes, an endoscopy operating suite, a playroom machinery.
