WCLC Lottery Manager App Now Offers Lottery Ticket Checker

Lottery Manager App Now Includes Ticket Scanner

The WCLC Lottery Manager app, available for iOS and Android platforms, now has a ticket checker. You can now use your device's camera to find out if your ticket's a winner.

The app can check lottery, SPORT SELECT and SCRATCH'N WIN tickets purchased from lottery retailers in Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Note for PlayNow Members

Please note that lottery tickets purchased on PlayNow.com do not have a barcode and cannot be checked using the Lottery Manager app.

Tickets purchased on PlayNow.com will continue to be checked automatically after each draw, and PlayNow members will continue to receive automatic notifications when they win. PlayNow members can continue to visit the My Tickets section of PlayNow.com to see their tickets for upcoming draws as well as tickets for past draws including winning tickets.

How to Use the Lottery Manager App

To use the Lottery Manager app to check tickets you may have purchased at a lottery retailer, download the free app from the App Store or Google Play app marketplace, or update the app if it's already on your device. Then scan the barcode from on your ticket starting the day after the draw - or, for SPORT SELECT, the day after the last game is played - to see if the ticket's a winner.

For SCRATCH 'N WIN games, completely uncover the barcode in the game's play area, and scan it.

Other App Features

The app also offers features like recent winning numbers and upcoming jackpots - including setting automatic alerts on your device when the LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49 jackpots reach chosen amounts. The app also has a "find a store" feature, which uses your device's location services to show you where you can buy tickets near you.

Optimum Device Settings

The updated Lottery Manager app functions best on Apple devices running iOS version 7.0 or higher (iPhone 5 and newer), and on Android phones and tablets running Android v5.0 or newer (Samsung S4 and newer).
