The co-workers from SaveOn Foods call themselves the 'Magnificent Group of Seven (Plus One)' and have been buying Lotto 6/49 as a group for ten years. This isn't the first big win for the group – they won $104,000 back in 2008.
Group trustee, Debra Mortimore says being able to share the $1 million with friends makes the win more exciting and special.
"It's a lot more fun to share this. What's great is that we are all able to claim the money and experience this win together", exclaimed Mortimore.
