Pitt Meadow winners keep calm in face of Lotto Max win$500,000.00
Congratulations Danica and Mark!
The best way to stay calm is to take deep breathes. That's the advice Danica F. and Mark W. want to pass on to other lottery winners. The excited couple from Pitt Meadows matched all seven numbers and won a $500,000 Maxmillion prize from the Lotto Max draw on June 1, 2018. The Maxmillion prize was split with another winner from Ontario.
"I see winners celebrate big lottery wins on TV but I never thought this could happen to me," said Danica. "The feeling is so incredible!"
"We are still in shock and haven't been able to think about what do with the money yet," said Mark. "It's finally feeling real now that we've received the prize."
They will continue to take deep breaths as they enjoy the rest of their winning experience. The young couple say they'll start by sharing the news with their friends and picking out a few fun items for their children, before sitting down and planning for their family's future.
The winning ticket was sold at the Real Canadian Superstore located on Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows.
