Three of the largest prizes reported in BC from August 23-29 had something in common: Lotto Max.

The Games Behind the Wins

Winning tickets connected to Lotto Max and Lotto Max Extra were purchased in Kamloops, Port McNeill and Vancouver — but they weren't the only games or communities that showed up in the week's winner data.

Why Did Lotto Max Stand Out This Week?

Lotto Max and Lotto Max Extra were behind the three largest prizes reported from August 23-29, with a combined value of $650,000.

The week's largest reported prize came from Lotto Max Extra: a ticket purchased at a gas station in Kamloops resulted in a $500,000 prize.

Lotto Max also delivered a $100,000 prize from a ticket purchased in Port McNeill and a $50,000 prize from a ticket purchased in Vancouver.

Together, those prizes put Lotto Max and Lotto Max Extra behind $650,000 in reported prizes of $10,000 or more for the period, and the three largest prizes in the week's data.

Which Other Lottery Games Were Behind Big BC Wins?

Scratch & Win and Keno + Keno Bonus brought three more BC communities into the week's winning activity.

Keno + Keno Bonus added two more wins: a $15,003 prize from a ticket purchased in Richmond and a $20,023 prize from a ticket purchased in Kimberley.

Together, these three prizes added another $45,026 to the period's reported winning activity, bringing the total across all six prizes to $695,026.
