If the chair icon does not appear in the poker room, this function is not available.

Wins will be shown and credited to your account before the next spin. As our games evolve, there are some different Auto Spin functionalities you should be aware of.

It is important to remember that you can stop the Auto Spin at any time, either by closing the game or pressing the "Stop" button (which is normally the "Spin" button, but changes to "Stop" when Auto Spin is engaged). • Why the enhancements to PlayNow Sports?

We've updated sports betting on to reflect industry standards and player demand, featuring an increased variety of sports, leagues, tournaments and events, and new ways to bet.

  • Does the new PlayNow Sports replace Sports Action?

There is no change to Sports Action's current sports games; it's just that they are no longer available on in order to offer the new sportsbook. Sports Action is still available for purchase at all lottery retailers. Sports Action menus and odds are still available for viewing online at

  • I used to play Sports Action Oddset on PlayNow. Can I find Oddset on the new PlayNow Sports?

While it won't be called 'Oddset', many sporting events will still offer a bet (like Oddset) where you can choose either the Home team to Win, the Visitor team to Win or the Tie. Often these bets are referred to as 'Win-Draw-Win' or 'Match Result'. Keep in mind, with these types of bets the SPORTS ACTION TIE RULES DO NOT APPLY. If teams are tied in points (or goals) at the end of regulation time (or the time of the game as specified in the terms of the bet offered) then it's a TIE. Simple.

In some sports or events, Win-Draw-Win bets may not be available - however you can still usually always bet on the winning Team or Player – it's just that the Tie option is not available.

  • I used to play Sports Action Point Spread online. Can I find Point Spread on the new PlayNow Sports?

Of course you can! Spread betting is available on most events offered on PlayNow Sports. Spread bets are found under the names 'Point Spread', 'Spread' or 'Handicap' depending on the sport or event.

  • I used to play Sports Action Over/Under online. Can I find Over/Under on the new PlayNow Sports?

We couldn't call ourselves a sportsbook if we didn't offer betting on the Total amount of Goals/Points/Runs scored in the game or match! Not only do we have Over/Under bets on end of Game totals, now you can bet on various Totals throughout the game on periods/quarters/half-time/innings etc. Check your favourite events to see what's available.

  • So you have all the types of bets that I am used to with Sports Action, but what is different?

The new PlayNow Sports really is a 'game-changer'. Besides the new look, the sportsbook now offers more sports, more leagues, tournaments and more types of bets than ever before. New parlay options, single bets, Futures and Outrights, Money Back Specials, immediate settlement and payment on winning bets and betting on LIVE games while they're in-play are some of the most significant enhancements. Along with all of the new offers, also come new betting rules and conditions (different than Sports Action). Be sure to familiarize yourself with the betting rules for the sports you bet on - as whether your bets win or lose your bets will be determined accordingly.

  • Why can't I parlay two bets from the same game?

While you now have the ability to parlay a Money Line (Match Result) bet with a Point Totals bet - you aren't able to do it if the bets are from the same event or game. Any bets that are deemed directly 'correlated' will not be permitted as a parlay.

  • Why aren't all bets offered as singles?

Unfortunately due to current Canadian law, we are still unable to offer single event betting. If the law changes (as currently is proposed with Private Member Bill C-290) we will make betting on single-events available. Details and the current status of Bill C-290 can be found here.

PlayNow however, does offer some 'single' bets in as much as those bets are comprised of 'Embedded Parlay(s)' and a wager can be placed without combining another offer. For example, a 'Correct Score' bet can be offered as a 'single', as it requires the prediction of BOTH the correct score of each team (or player) in order to successfully win the bet. All bets designated as 'singles' are highlighted throughout the site with "single" icon next to the offer.

  • Why aren't you offering bets on MMA, Boxing, Cycling or Motor Racing?

Unfortunately due to current Canadian law, we are still unable to offer bets on Fighting or Racing. If the law changes (as currently is proposed with Private Member Bill C-290) we will certainly consider offering bets on these sports.

  • How do I interpret the odds - and why are there different available formats for the odds?

PlayNow gives you the option to view the odds in 3 different formats. Below is brief description of the 3 different formats:

With Decimal odds, multiply the value of the odds with your wager to determine your potential win. The outcome with the lowest odds is projected as the most likely outcome (or 'favourite') and vice-versa the outcome with the highest odds being the least likely to occur (also known as the 'dog').
Example: With decimal odds of 2.50 and wager amount of $10, this bet would potentially return $25.

For a parlay bet, the total odds of a bet are determined by multiplying the value of all the odds and then multiplying by the amount bet.
Example: With decimal odds of 2.50 and 4.00 and wager amount of $10, this bet would potentially return $100.

American odds (also sometimes referred to as "Money Line" odds) reveal the amount you must wager or can win on any selection based on a $100 increment. The favoured outcome is always displayed as a negative number.
Example: If the odds offered on a particular outcome are -110, it means that in order to 'win' $100 you would need to bet $110. If the odds are +110, it means that if you wagered $100, you would win $110. In this example you would calculate your payout by also adding your initial stake (wager).

With Fractional odds, the numerator represents the amount to win from the wager amount shown in denominator. Example: Odds of 1/3 mean that bettor would win $1 for each $3 staked (thus equal to 1.33 in decimal format), and 2/1 mean that bettor wins $2 for each unit staked (thus equal 3.00 in decimal format). So, with a stake of $100, potential win on first bet is $133.33, and on the second bet, potential win is $300.

To change the odds format, use the odds format selector found near the bottom of the left navigation bar and select your preferred format from the drop down menu.

Over the same time period, B.C. players won or shared 12.83 per cent of the jackpots and purchased 12.75 per cent of the tickets sold.

  • Do I need to call "Bingo" if I win?

No, BCLC's system will know whether your card has a Bingo and will award the prize accordingly.

  • How does the progressive jackpot work?

Each of the three Multi-Player games has a progressive jackpot in which a percentage of all sales are added to the jackpot. The jackpot is won or shared by the first player(s) to get blackout within the specified number of ball calls.

Until the progressive jackpot pool reaches the guaranteed minimum amount, the guaranteed minimum amount is displayed and is awarded if won. Once the progressive jackpot pool exceeds the minimum amount, it continues to grow until it is won.

In the event that a Multi-Player game or jackpot is discontinued, the funds from that jackpot will be added to BCLC's unclaimed prize fund. • What happens if my computer goes down or freezes or I lose my internet connection during a game?

Computer or internet connection problems will not affect the game outcome. After you purchase your game, if your play is terminated in any way, the result of your play will still stand.

For Single Player games, if you return to the game where you have an incomplete ticket, you will see your game play out. If you go to your Active Tickets list in your player profile you can choose to either complete the game without watching it or replay the game and watch it play out. If you return to the game the next day, the game will have been completed for you by BCLC's system.

For Multi-Player games, if you return to the game before the draw is over you can view the remainder of the draw. If you return to the game and the draw is over you can view the results in your Past Tickets list in your player profile.
