Deposits can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to complete. If you still do not see the funds in your PlayNow account after 30 minutes, please contact Customer Support.

In the rare circumstance that the funds are debited from your bank or credit card account, and have not appeared on your PlayNow Account, please allow 3-7 business days for the funds to be returned. If the funds have not been returned after the allotted time has passed, please contact Customer Support.

Some credit card issuers and financial institutions may levy a fee each time you deposit funds into your account (cash advance). Such fees are not charged by BCLC. Please contact your credit card issuer or financial institution for verification.

To continue our compliance with federal regulations, PlayNow will implement changes to the information that we collect about our players. Your occupational information is needed to comply with the Procedures of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Acts (PCMLTFA), effective June 17, 2017.

PlayNow is required to keep this information on file, in accordance with PCMLTFA regulations. FINTRAC administers the regulations, with a mandate to facilitate the detection, prevention and deterrence of money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities, while ensuring the protection of personal information under their control. Your information will continue to be stored in accordance with the PlayNow privacy policy.

You may withdraw funds from your account at any point, subject to BCLC withdrawal policies which include the following:

  • All funds must be withdrawn to your bank account (unless the withdrawal is $100,000 or higher).
  • For withdrawals of $1,000 or more, you must provide BCLC with your occupation as required by Federal anti-money laundering regulations.
  • For withdrawals of $100,000 or more, BCLC will present you with your money by cheque. A BCLC representative will contact you at the telephone number you have provided in your player profile to arrange payment.

Please allow up to three business days for BCLC to process your withdrawal. Once completed, the transaction will require approximately one business day before it will appear in your bank account. Time required will fluctuate depending on your financial institution.

You have the ability to reverse part of the amount, or in its entirety, of your pending withdrawal total for a given day up until midnight PST. The portion of the pending withdrawal total that you reverse will be returned back to your playable balance. The Weekly Deposit Limit is the maximum amount of money you may transfer into your account, by your credit card or bank, within a seven day period. The Weekly Deposit Limit is set by the user; you can enter an amount in $1 increments, up to $100,000. Within any seven day period, you will only be able to transfer in up to the total amount which you, the player, have selected.

Please note that the Weekly Deposit Limit is not an automatic bank deposit.

You may decrease your Weekly Deposit Limit at any time through your player profile. Any increases to your Weekly Deposit Limit will not come into effect for approximately 24 hours. When your new transfer-in limit is active, the 24-hour countdown messaging on your Edit Profile page will no longer appear, and your new limit will be displayed on the page.
