As is said in sports betting, ‘the dogs were barking,’ and one PlayNow Sports player cashed in with a wager on the underdogs earlier month!

Justin R. of Vancouver turned a $25 wager on a 4-way parlay into $10,126.31 in winnings, correctly selecting a quartet of underdogs to win across games in the NHL, NBA and NFL on Nov. 11.

The successful bet started with the Canadiens defeating the Calgary Flames in NHL action by a score of 4-2. The Canadiens scored three unanswered goals, including two in the third period, to take the lead and eventually the win -- their only victory in their last seven games.

In the NBA, Justin’s selection of the Raptors paid off with Toronto roaring back in the second half, on the road, to defeat the 76ers by six points. Meanwhile, the Pacers handled the Jazz with a 111-100 victory on the road, taking over the game late in the first half and never looking back.

The biggest shock was likely the result in Miami.

The Ravens were favoured by 8.5 points on the road against the Dolphins, but Miami completely took over to score a shocking 12-point win in prime time over one of the contenders to win the AFC. Miami’s defence completely shut the door on the Ravens and was able to score a touchdown of its own in the fourth quarter to secure the win for Miami, and a winning wager for Justin.
