How to Win

Predict the outcome in a game between the 'Player', the 'Banker', or whether it will be a 'Tie'.

Your payout will depend on the result and type of wager placed and the amount of your bet.

If you win, your winnings will be credited to your account immediately.

If you do not correctly predict the winning hand between the 'Player' and 'Banker' or as a 'Tie', you will lose your bet amount.

How to Play

  1. Select your bet by clicking on a chip at the bottom of the screen. To change the chip value at any time, click on another chip then click on the table betting area relevant to your bet to place your bet, either 'Player', 'Tie' or 'Banker'. The different areas will illuminate when your cursor rolls over them. Selecting the 'Banker' area will back the banker, selecting the 'Player' area will back the player and selecting a 'Tie' will predict a tied result. A value will be displayed alongside the chip. You are able to mix the value of the chips by clicking on a different chip value and re-clicking on the area you wish to bet on. Click the Clear button if you wish to change your bet at this stage. Clicking Undo removes individual chips from the table in the order they were placed on the table. The Double button will double the amount of the bet. Select Deal when you are happy with your wager.
  2. Two cards are dealt to both the 'Player' and the 'Banker'. The cards are placed face up. Additional cards may also be dealt (more information below). With all cards played, the scores of the two hands are compared.
  3. The value of the hands will appear underneath the cards (a number in a disk). The value of a hand is the last digit of the face total of the cards. For example, a hand consisting of a Jack, a 5 and a 6, has the face total of 11, so this hand has a value total of 1. In this manner, the total for each hand will always be in the range of 0 - 9.
  4. Without any interaction on your behalf, a third card may then be dealt to the 'Player', the 'Banker' or both. Whether this third card is dealt depends upon the rules ascribed to the 'Player' or the 'Banker'. These are as follows:
    • If the first 2 cards of one or both hands total 8 or 9, the hand or hands are declared a "natural" and the game ends (no further cards are drawn).
    • If only one hand has a natural, it automatically wins. If both hands are naturals AND of the same value, the hands 'Tie'. Otherwise the hand with the higher score wins. No further cards will be drawn, without exception.
    • If both hands are not standing, then the 'Players' total is considered. If the 'Players' total is five or less, then the 'Players' hand will receive an additional card.
    • If the 'Players' hand stood and did not receive an additional card (i.e. if it was a total of 6 or of 7), then the 'Bankers' hand will only receive an additional card if its value is five or less.
    • If the 'Players' hand received a third card then the 'Bankers' hand will only receive a third card under the following conditions:

Winning or Losing the Game

  • If your bet has been placed on the 'Player' and the 'Player' has a greater score than the 'Banker' then you win and will be paid even money.
  • If your bet has been placed on a 'Tie' and both scores are equal then you win and will be paid 8:1.
  • If your bet has been placed on the 'Banker' and the 'Banker' has a greater score than the player, then you win and you will be paid even money MINUS a 5% commission.
  • Any payout you receive that is less than an even dollar (i.e. $1.90) will be represented on the layout by a single, unmarked chip. The exact amount of the win will be credited to your account.
  • If your bet has been placed on either 'Player' or 'Banker' and the game is a 'Tie' then your bet is returned to you.
  • All other bets: you immediately lose the game, plus your bet.

Rebetting

Click NEW GAME to start another game with no bets on the table.

Click the REBET button to bet the same amount as your previous bet AND deal the cards for the next game. NOTE: This action can not be undone when selected.

Click the REBET X 2 button to bet double the amount as your previous bet AND deal the cards for the next game. NOTE: This action cannot be undone when selected.

Card Deck

Baccarat uses eight full card decks, which are reshuffled after every hand.

All decks are a 52 card deck.

Card Values

Ace 1, only has a value of 1, note there is no dependence on suit.
10 Card and Face Cards: King, Queen, Jack 0, all have a value of zero.
Banker to win 1:1 and Player pays a 5% commission to the house on all wins.
Number card: 2-9 Face value. For instance, the three of clubs has a value of 3.

This game has a Return to Player of 98.94%.
