Manitoba winner Matthew M was relaxing at home when he struck it big playing Power Keno on PlayNow.

Matthew selected 10 numbers on the keno board (44, 52, 53, 55, 62, 63, 71, 72, 74, and 75), and got off to a great start when he landed a 4x multiplier early on. His $50 wager then matched all 10 of his chosen numbers within 20 selections. That won him a $50,000 prize. Thanks to the multiplier, his win quadrupled to an incredible $200,000!

“Once I got to 9 out of 10, I thought it might hit, and it did!” Matthew recalled.

Like many winners, Matthew needed a moment to process what had happened. “I took a few screen shots; I couldn’t believe it happened,” he shared. “It’s fire!”

The Skownan resident enjoys trying a variety of games on PlayNow, but says keno is a favourite because of the anticipation of waiting for that final number to appear. “And the multipliers are not bad,” he added with a chuckle.

Matthew is still making plans for his winnings, and is looking forward to deciding how to make the most of his $200,000 windfall.
