Manitoba winner ecstatic about six-digit MegaJackpots win!

On April 17, while cooking supper for her family, Monica P. of Winnipeg played a few spins on a new title on PlayNow, Thundering Gorilla.

That is exactly what happened for Monica – her 96-cent spin won the game’s Grand Progressive, a life-changing $119,143.41!

Monica, who joined PlayNow in 2020 and has played infrequently since that time, was still surprised at her big win even when picking up her prize in the PlayNow Lounge.

She explained what happened shortly after her winning spin:

“After the lightning had collected at the side of the screen, I saw the jackpot falling. The last time I played, the jackpot that fell was the Mini jackpot, and I thought that was exciting – and then I noticed this said Grand. I saw the jackpot on the screen said $29,000. And then I looked in my account and it said I had over $119,000! I was shocked!”

Monica is the third Manitoba winner to win the Thundering jackpot in the past six months.

She plans to use her winnings to help out some family and invest in her retirement.
