In addition to offering the largest jackpots in Canada, Lotto Max is now giving players the chance to win even more prizes with the Lotto Max Dream Big Contest.

From September 5 to October 21, 2024, the Lotto Max Dream Big Contest will give players extra chances to win cash prizes in addition to other Lotto Max prizes with each Lotto Max ticket they purchase.

For every $5 ticket, players will earn five entries for the chance to win one of 30 weekly prizes of $10,000 or the grand prize of $1 million.

The Lotto Max Dream Big Contest offers players the chance to win 30 weekly prizes of $10,000 or the grand prize of $1 million, in addition to other Lotto Max prizes.

From September 5 to October 21, 2024, PlayNow players can earn entries from their eligible Lotto Max purchases. The method of entry depends on how the Lotto Max ticket was purchased; see below for details on how to enter. Players will receive one entry for every $1 spent on Lotto Max, so every $5 ticket will deliver five entries.

Earn entries from eligible Lotto Max purchases on PlayNow by signing in or registering for a PlayNow account and opting in by entering a promo code: DREAMBIG.

After opt-in, all eligible Lotto Max purchases on PlayNow will automatically be entered into the Dream Big Contest.

Entries will be allocated to the weekly draw based on the date they were purchased. All entries will be eligible for the grand prize draw.

By purchasing Lotto Max on PlayNow, players consent to entering the contest.

Participants will be able to track the status of earning entries from their PlayNow purchases on their My Promotions page when they are signed into their account. Please allow up to 7 days after purchase for entries to appear.

Lotto Max tickets purchased through other methods, including paper (printed) tickets purchased at Lotto Spot retailers, and tickets purchased through Lotto Spot app, Subscription Spot or WCLC mail-in subscriptions, each have their own method of entry. Tickets purchased on PlayNow remain in your account, and you may view your entries in the My Promotions area of PlayNow. You do not have to do anything additional to retain your PlayNow tickets.

If you purchased paper (printed) tickets at a Lotto Spot retailer, yes, hold on to every ticket you enter. Players must present these tickets in order to claim a prize.

All Lotto Max tickets purchased during the contest period of 2:00pm CT September 5-2:00pm CT October 21, 2024, are eligible to be entered in the Lotto Max Dream Big Contest.

On PlayNow, players must opt in to the contest by entering a promo code, and eligible purchases made after the promo code is entered will be entered.

No, if you have won a free play ticket on a Lotto Max game that ticket cannot be used for entry during the Dream Big Contest. Only Lotto Max tickets purchased during the contest period are eligible for entry.

Yes, tickets purchased during the contest period through a PlayNow subscription will be automatically entered once you have entered the promo code to opt in.

Tickets purchased through a WCLC-run subscription will also be automatically entered.

All Canadian lottery jurisdictions are participating.

Odds of winning any prize will be dependent on the total number of entries received from all participating jurisdictions for each draw.

There is no additional cost to participate. Every Lotto Max ticket purchased during the contest period is eligible to be entered in the Dream Big Contest.

Players can view their contest entries on the PlayNow website. Please allow up to 7 days for entry counts to be updated. Players can contact PlayNow Customer Support at 1-877-706-6789 to confirm contest entries.

For tickets purchased at Lotto Spot retailers or through the Lotto Spot app: Yes, you can choose the week you want to enter your selections for. Tickets purchased at retail or on the Lotto Spot app are entered into the contest for the week you manually enter them into the contest site.

For all other play types, it is not possible to select the week of entry.

Tickets purchased on PlayNow, including PlayNow subscriptions, are entered into the contest the week in which they are purchased by the participant.

Tickets purchased by subscription (mail or Subscription Spot) will automatically be entered into the contest for the week of the purchased selection’s draw.

Lottery retailers cannot participate in the second chance draw if the ticket is purchased at retail.

Lottery retailers may participate in the contest if they purchase a ticket through any of the other entry methods (PlayNow, Lotto Spot app, or by WCLC subscription – mail or Subscription Spot).

No, lottery employees – including Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries employees - may not participate in the contest.

Players who have self-excluded from PlayNow in Manitoba, or through a self-exclusion program in a casino operated by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, cannot participate in the contest.

Weekly and grand prize winners will be posted as each winning entry is confirmed on the Dream Big Contest website: lottomaxdreambig.ca

Winners of the weekly draws will be contacted within 5 business days of each draw. The first weekly draw will be held September 20, 2024, and the last weekly draw and the $1,000,000 grand prize draw will be held October 25, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.

PlayNow Manitoba winners will receive a courtesy win notification by email if they have won a Dream Big Contest prize, with instructions on how to claim a prize through WCLC.

WCLC will attempt to notify each Manitoba contest winners, including PlayNow Manitoba winners, by telephone or email. See the Official Contest Rules and Regulations for details.

It will take approximately five (5) business days to contact and validate a winner, and then up to 5 additional business days to get their cheque to them. We know this can feel like a long time, and we thank all our winners for their patience!
