Heather H. had to do a double take when she scanned her LOTTO 6/49 ticket and saw a flash of zeroes on the customer display screen. The Lac du Bonnet local won $100,000 on the $1 EXTRA she added to her June 17 LOTTO 6/49 ticket.

“I was surprised to see so many numbers pop up,” she said. “So, I scanned it again and made sure to count all the zeroes.”

“I must have had a shocked look on my face because the store clerk came over and asked if I was ok,” she laughed.

The new winner said she has one big plan for her windfall.

“I’m going to build a barn for my three horses,” she said.

Heather bought her winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket at Drifters Restaurant & Service at Junction 11 & 313 in Lac du Bonnet. She won her prize by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number drawn – 6914541.
