Viviana S. won the $2 million jackpot on the March 21 WESTERN 649 draw!

The Winnipeg local said she checked her numbers on WCLC’s website after she finished a shift at work and was stunned to see they matched her ticket.

“I was thinking, ‘Why are my numbers on the screen?’” she laughed. “I was texting my friends, but no one was answering because everyone was asleep!”

Viviana said she needed a moment to process it.

“I was very overwhelmed,” she said. “I’ve been playing these numbers on and off for over 20 years.”

Now, the Winnipegger is thinking about how she’ll enjoy the winnings.

“I'm going to save for retirement, but I'm going to keep on working because it's my exercise – it gets me out of the house!” she said. “I also want to share with my family.”

“I just keep thinking, ‘It happened! I won!’” she smiled.

Viviana purchased her winning WESTERN 649 ticket from The General store gift shop located inside McPhillips Station Casino, 484 McPhillips Street, in Winnipeg. She won her prize in the March 21 WESTERN 649 draw by matching the selection: 4, 17, 24, 29, 31, and 47.
